The Plain-English Guarantee
Before the legal jargon, here is our promise to you as fellow filmmakers:
- •Your Footage is Yours: We claim no ownership over the media you transfer via Aero.
- •No AI Training: We do not, and will never, use your private files, rough cuts, or masters to train artificial intelligence models.
- •Delivery, Not Cold Storage: Aero is a high-speed delivery and review platform, not a permanent archive. You are responsible for backing up your own masters.
- •Strict Abuse Policy: We have a zero-tolerance policy for piracy and illegal content. Offending accounts are instantly terminated and files purged.
Terms of Service
1. Acceptable Use and Content Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to the files you upload. By uploading content, you grant Aero (operated by FilmAhava) a temporary, limited license solely to host, encrypt, and deliver your files to your intended recipients. You agree not to upload, share, or distribute content that is illegal, infringes on intellectual property rights (piracy), contains malware, or violates any US laws.
2. DMCA and Copyright Policy
Aero respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded to our platform without authorization, please send a DMCA takedown notice to legal@filmahava.com including: a description of the copyrighted work, the URL/Token of the infringing material, your contact information, and a statement of good faith belief. We maintain a strict repeat-infringer termination policy.
3. Limitation of Liability
Aero is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. FilmAhava shall not be liable for any data loss, file corruption, missed deadlines, or loss of revenue resulting from the use of, or inability to use, our platform. You are strictly responsible for maintaining independent backups of your master files.
4. Billing and Tiers
Paid subscriptions (Pro and Studio tiers) are billed via Stripe. You may cancel at any time, and your limits will revert to the Free tier at the end of your billing cycle. If your storage exceeds the Free tier limits upon cancellation, your oldest files may be queued for deletion to comply with capacity limits.
Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to operate the service: your account email, basic profile information, recipient emails (only when using the "Send via Email" feature), and standard web analytics (IP addresses and browser types for security logging).
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used strictly to provide the Aero service. We do not sell your personal data or recipient email lists to third parties. Uploaded media is encrypted at rest using AES-256 on Cloudflare R2 servers located within the United States.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
When you click "Delete Project" or "Delete Delivery," we issue immediate deletion commands to our cloud infrastructure. Files are physically purged from the bucket and cannot be recovered. We do not maintain shadow copies of your deleted media.
4. Third-Party Processors
We utilize trusted third-party infrastructure to power Aero, including Cloudflare (storage and edge routing), Stripe (payment processing), and our email dispatch provider. These processors are compliant with modern data security standards.
